- The First Annual Woodsmoke Bluegrass Jamboree

The Woodsmoke Bluegrass Jamboree will feature a lineup of top-notch Bluegrass musicians performing your favourite Ole-Tyme songs over a two day show at the beautiful Nav Conference Centre in Cornwall Ontario.
The show gets started on Friday March 2nd, 2012 at 7-10 pm.
Don't miss the Late Night Show on Friday (10:30 on the main stage).
Take your time getting up on Saturday, the show runs from 1-5 pm (dinner break) and 7-10 pm.
Meals and Accommodations are available at the Nav Conference Centre (no need to leave the building).
There will be plenty of Jamming in the lounge after the stage show so bring your instruments and join in the fun.

At MBC, you can study old-time or bluegrass banjo with some of today's best players and teachers in both styles. Our program features hands-on classes, demonstrations and two faculty concerts, and still leaves lots of time for jamming with your fellow banjo enthusiasts.
Check-in opens 11 AM on Friday; June 8; Camp ends 2:30 PM on Sunday, June 10
The "Pre-Camp": Our low pressure Pre-Camp Program takes place this year on the evening of Thursday June 7 and the morning of Friday June 8.
It consists of staff-led jams, Q & A sessions, and demonstrations. Check-in for the pre-camp begins at 3:30PM on Thursday June 7.
Our instructors for 2012:
Old-time Banjo: Cathy Barton Para, Mac Benford, Howie Bursen, Bob
Carlin, Chris Coole, Cathy Fink, Joe Newberry, Ken Perlman and Tom
Sauber.
Coole and Newberry will share the job of teaching our old-time novices; both will also teach some more advanced-level classes.
Bluegrass Banjo: Janet Beazley, Greg Cahill, Ryan Cavanaugh, Bill Evans, Matt Flinner, Gerald Jones, Bill Keith (tentative), Alan Munde, Alan O'Bryant, and Mike Sumner is our primary instructor for bluegrass novices.
Fiddle Track: This year our primary fiddle instructor is Bobby Taylor. Fiddle Classes will also be taught by Tom Sauber and others TBA.
Guitar Track: Our principle instuctor in the guitar track is Russ Barenberg. A couple of guitar classes will be taught by other instructors.
